Alla Dull (Photographer: Sri Nadia)Alla Dull is a Russian painter who started to paint on wood three years ago. "The idea to paint on wood came from seeing the Russian Icons", she says. The main subject of her paintings are faces and hands, she continues "The hand is the most personal part of the body. With the hand you can feel every thing". In her paintings one may see different faces, each giving a different feeling. The eyes may be the first thing to attract one in the painting. Sri Aurobindo (Photographer: Sri Aurobindo Society)I have rendered a few poems from the book Collected Poems of Sri Aurobindo. I am having a great time discovering the multi-faceted grandeur of Sri Aurobindo's poetic genius. I am interested in sharing with the listeners my voice-adventure of trying to feel and render the poetry of Sri Aurobindo. The poem Bride of the Fire was written on November 11, 1935. The listeners can look forward to more such endeavours in the time to come. I am thankful to AurovilleRadio for letting me experiment. Read more

Amayama Band at Bharat Nivas, Pavilion of Indian Culture in International Zone (Photographer: Shirin)Malu, Joem and Sebastian, making up the heart of Amayama band, performed  last night, with guests, at the Sri Aurobindo Auditorium, Bharat Nivas, Pavilion of Indian Culture in International Zone. They mesmerized the audience with their music, dance and visuals. Using the power of world music rhythms they managed to connect those present in human unity, as has been done down the ages; leaving almost nobody sitting. Visuals and music appear as result of seeking for truths through spiritual practices, prophets, teachers from dawn to todays ones, such as Ama or Don Miguel Ruiz. Good Show!Read more
