 One of the most wonderful events I have seen in Auroville. Come and enjoy the audio of the musical play Sorcery at Sea. There was actors of all ages that came together to preform this captivating story. Bharat Nivas was so packed there was not space for a mouse. People sitting on the floor and steps. Even on your way back home you could here the people sing the songs of the play. Can you you see it was heard all over Auroville afterwards. Great thanks to all the actors and people behind stage.  As it is really turning into tradition, toward the end of the school year Anna Taj shares with the community her annual rock concert, which changes and modifies over the years. This year to surprise of all, and not announced was opening by Atma and Jangciup with Bob Marley's Redemption Song. ..followed by some classical rock, pop songs so known and dear to many. Again was the night to be shared with the community under starlight of Visitor Centre with the dancing feet. Due to some technical problems the following is the recording of some songs. Read more

 AV's Minstrels gathered again this month at Marc's Coffee in the Visitor Center to share their poetry passion. All is welcome and if you have some of your own personal poetry please come next month to share. All languages are well come but you might be asked to translate it afterward in to English. Gordon also provided some good flute music to change the mood for the next poetic journey. Hope to see you there next time and maybe also hear the passion of your heart.

 Janaka est un Aurovillien de longue date. Il est arriver a Auroville apres avoir experienter d autres realites en france. Comme il aime a le dire, Janaka a plusieurs vies, au moins 3. Aujourd`hui Janaka habite a Auroville dans les appartements a Citadines. C`est avec chaleur qu`il nous parle de son parcours, sa vie en prison, son envie d`ailleurs, et son arrivee a Auroville, ou il a passer la plus gande partie de sa vie. Janaka, a recemment publie un livre et en prepare un autre pour completer le recit de sa vie.

 Journaliste et historien, Claude Arpi vit en Inde depuis plus de 30 ans dans la cité internationale d'Auroville où il est directeur du Pavillon Tibétain. Il a consacré ces vingt-cinq dernières années à létude approfondie de la culture du Tibet. Dans cette interview Claude nous presente le pavillon de la culture tibétaine et revient sur quelques fait historiques de ce pays et de ce peuple qui a perdu son territoire. Aujourd'hui la culture tibétaine existe grace à la diaspora tibétaine et la profonde synpathie de nombreux citoyens du monde.

 With Jill - member of Auroville Theatre Group, Chankaya - a writer and director of Prelud and Vivek - an actor we were trying to find out what has triggered for Prelude to come on the stage. On solo performance, where we can see how society does define one's life, the team was working more than a year, and it was a true collaboration in creative process. The main conflict of the character lies in the relationship between the mother and son, where she represents home, religious and moral backgrounds and he tries to brake those in secrecy.

 On the minimalistic setting of the stage, which comes to life with light effects and sound, a man relives certain moments of his life. Vivek Vijayakumaran in this solo performance brings to the audience amazingly vivid all those moments which seems to be the ones defining the man's life. His questions are also very intimately connected with social parameters, hypocrisy and religious beliefs. Great theater solo performance touching essentials of Indian diverse society in cultural and religious backgrounds.

 Questo e' il secondo meeting di alcuni residenti che stanno lavorando al progetto del padiglione italiano ad Auroville. Ad Arka, nella rumorosa libreria adiacente alla Crown Roard, si sono riuniti italiani per discutere sulla eventuale possibilta' di vedere realizzato il padiglione in muratura. Durante la discussione e' emersa la difficolta' di realizzare di progetto 'reale' per cui il gruppo ha optato nel continuare le attivita' culturali sotto l'egida del padiglione 'virtuale'. Ascoltate la registrazione per capire di cio' che si e' discusso.
