Being Human
Saturday 27 November Georges Van Vrekhem gave a lecture titled: Being Human and the Copernican Principle. The human being has always been considered as the crown of the evolution on Earth, and is even imaged as God. Materialistic science has, in the last three or four centuries, gradually eroded such conceptions and reduced the human from the centre of creation to an animal among animals. The view, idea, or the image of humanity as itself determines the choice of its ideals and actions.
