Bride on the Rocks
How much (tequila) is too much? "Bride on the Rocks", by American playwright David Wiener (with Drupad as Lloyd, Saraswati as Andrea, directed by Jill, lights by Jean L.) is a sweet, funny, one act comedy about the encounter between Andrea, a young woman (the bride-to-have-been) suffering near fatal embarrassment and shock when she is "stood up" at the altar on the day of her wedding, and how she finds comfort, courage and some good advice from Lloyd, a bartender with a sympathetic ear. The performance was recorded live July 9 at the Hotel De L’Orient, Pondicherry.
