Today’s news features an interview with Kathy, creator and sustainer of Thamarai. Kathy is also involved with Child Protection Services. Here she speaks about this week’s inservice facilitated by Dr. Peter Choate of Canada, the aim of which is awareness vs. denial of the plight of children, sorely in need of protection. Also in the news there is a reminder for today’s Residents’ Assembly; it’s an opportunity to get to kn ow these familiar faces in another mode; as members of the recently formed l’Avenir.
