Priya Vincent (Photographer: Vikram)Priya Vincent one of the coordinators of Buddha Garden spoke in detail about organic farming. The basic elements of farming – soil, water, plants, animals, and pests and diseases – are universal to any farming method that’s adapted. Priya, who was presenting at the Green Practices Workshop, said understanding each of these elements is the key to sustainability. She spoke in depth about each of them and related it to her experiences with the Buddha Garden. Priya remarked that farming can never be a mechanical process but is more of dance between all these elements. Download presentation
