L'Orfeo (Photographer: Mattia)Last night performance - opera L'Orfeo - at Bharat Nivas surely brought smile on faces of opera lovers, but also proved to some that opera not necessary means to be a boring night out. Interesting fusion of classical Monteverdi piece with Indian rhythms, all spiced up with different choreography, caused a huge applause from the audience. Tomorrow night we got another interesting evening ahead of us - Stillness in Motion at Visitor Centre at 8pm, a dance performance by Irene Sposetti. Beside it, the weekend will be also full of very good movies, and also a lecture by Geshe Pema Dorjee at The Pavilion of Tibetan Culture at 5pm. The tittle of it is "Buddhism and Environment”.
