Youth Choir
On Sunday afternoon at CRIPA in Kalabhumi the atmosphere was filled with joyful noises of excited children, parents and friends. The Youth Choir led by Nuria and accompanied on piano by Matthew has shared with the community some popular songs chosen from some well known movies for children. The young audience was captivated and spellbound by the sound-track Cirlce of Life from the movie Lion King performed by the twenty-one members of the choir. Read more

Ukrainian musicians Olga and Rustam are traveling through India for the last four months. On the advice of somebody, they decided to pay a visit to Auroville as well. First impressions and first disappointments, and of course the fact that Auroville is a pretty expensive place to visit, almost turned them off. But they insisted in their search for the musicians living and working here, and as the result of their quest, there will be a concert on Tuesday, 20th of March at Sadhana Forest at 7.30pm, and on Wednesday 21st at Unity Pavilion at 7.30pm. Volunteers to AurovilleRadio come from different parts of the world, different backgrounds, professions or line of studies, but up until now nobody had ever come from Europe on a cycle! Marek did, all the way from his home town Liepzig in Germany. Over 11 000 kilometres, many countries he has now got behind him, and as he confides, he started to travel to see the world, and traveling such a long way on cycle seems much nicer to him. It gives him the opportunity to see more at a slower pace and always presents a possibility of unplanned stops. Read more

LOVE and Piano
With the bustling background of Lively Up Your Earth festival at Solitude Farm Marc Vella shared with us some thoughts, and reasons that he spend so much time on the road with his piano. As he says, "problems are everywhere, and it is much easier to start the war than to say to somebody that you love them.." His experiences proved to him that everybody needs LOVE, simple, tender and understanding, and he does share love without expectations but with his utmost respect. Saturday afternoon could be called almost perfect. The weather was sweet, children of all ages and big kids in a festive mood, music playing with energetic announcements by Anand, enticing smells of food. It's hard to imagine the beginning of Christmas and New Year holidays in Auroville without the traditional fair at the Youth Center. Stalls in the event area offered many interesting items and games. Closer to God
Stories about repatriation of Black and Rasta people might sound similar yet each of them is a story in itself. However, from the spiritual aspect, though not visible at first , a common thread runs through all life's faiths. The overwhelming experiences of first visits are similar.
