Inauguration of New SAIIER

In today's news you can listen to Sanjeev on the new building of SAIIER. Founded in 1983, SAIIER has, ever since, been located in Bharat Nivas, Pavilion of Indian Culture (International Zone). Sanjeev also invites the community to participate in tomorrow's inauguration. It will take place at 9.30am at Town Hall, next to the Auroville Foundation, where the new building is located. Further, Dr. Karan Singh, Chairman of the Governing Board, with Prof. Manoj Das from the Ashram as chief guest, invites us to a talk: 'Vedanta Today'. Cartoon Exhibition, Earth Day, GB
In today's news we are featuring Manu and Swapnil talking on the Cartoon Exhibition on Affordable Housing prepared by 14 concerned architects along with L'Avenir d"aAuroville which will be on display at Town Hall and Solar Kitchen until 12th. They are asking the community for feedback. We are also featuring an excerpt of interaction of Governing Board with the community past Saturday with Paulette and Dr. Karan Singh talking on UNESCO and AV as a World Heritage Site. Rules of Master Plan Applies
In today news we feature short interview with Gilles about Town Development Council which was recognized and is supported by district authority of Villupuram as a legal body of of the Auroville Fundation. Governing Board empowered L'Avenir d'Auroville to be Town Development Council, and in the area of master plan all have to follow its guidance and rules for the development, but those does not apply in the nearby villages.
