For the next six months they will travel around India, visiting places and people to shine their much needed love and light. Into the Bee Hive!
Gino in Discipline farm shows us a bee hive and explains how he became part of the project of rising awareness about the actual situation of our bees here in Auroville. Honey is not only a nourishing wonder, it is also anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and anti-oxydant. We learn from the behavior of the bees, seeing how, all their life, they share the same small amount of space, in a community where they evolve from the job of cleaning the hive to the higher one of looking for pollen in flowers, until they attain the final goal of taking care of the Mother, the Queen Bee. Spirit in Sound
Svaram started as a social development project with local unemployed youngsters. But in over more than a decade, it has developed into a real research enterprise in sound. It is a work in matter with sounds, which helps to symbolically manifest and reflect, through the craft-work, the deep underlying vision in Auroville. Svaram researches and produces a wide variety of ‘world-music instruments' from original and primal sound- makers to sophisticated string resonators, which find application in the emerging field of music education, sound therapy and personal growth. To Aurelio, musical instruments are like archetypal principles and as such limited to what one can do with them, but it does allow him to manifest some of the research in sound in the quest for that "unique sound of Auroville."
