It is a conceptual tool to map and develop different states of evolving consciousness in individuals, organisations, products, services or in any field of work. A form of action can be animated by different states of consciousness, however depending on the quality of the state of consciousness animating it the action and its results undergoes radical change. Therefore to improve an action and its results the underlying states of consciousness has to be developed and refined. Read more

The presentation was about his experiences of being a scientist and a spiritual person at the same time. He discussed how, unlike common feeling, his spiritual attitude complimented with the scientific view of the world. The discussion made its way into thoughts such as how application of mind on science and logic helps on finding the limitations of mind in understanding the nature. Spirituality can lead science to areas that could help life become better by making the world more safe and beautiful to live in. He stated, that since science and spirituality are in essence search for the truth they are similar and can be at some point unified... mp3/2010_02_17_presentation_townhall_binu_mukherjee_science_mind_and_yoga_ed.mp3&totalTime=70:24 Thursday, 25 February 2010

A sense of 'mutation' seizes us. Not as individuals ... but as a collective of humanity. The changes taking place are not within the 'established order' of things and of beings. The 'established order' itself is ceasing to be. An 'otherness' of 'being' has begun to take its place. Is it a shift of 'dimension' . . . of 'hemisphere' that is happening? “All the ages and millennia of human life that have elapsed so far have prepared the advent of this new state, and now the time has come for its concrete and tangible realisation. That is the very essence of Sri Aurobindo’s teaching...” The Mother The conference it's broadcast live from SAWCHU.Click here to tisten here in hi quality (aac+). Beautiful, sunny afternoon in January... Town Hall... people started to gather for the official visit of General-Director of UNESCO Mrs. Irina Bokova... "When is she coming, what she will tell us... "were the questions, and temperature seemed all of the sudden started to raise... "She's here!", and first greetings from Tatiana in Bulgarian brought tears on the edge of Mrs. Bokova eyes. Her visions about most important things are so close to what Auroville stands for, and the fact that she came for a visit, which was the first of the kind from the side of UNESCO, clearly express the recognition of Auroville in the world. And when she finally addressed us all... feelings were so intense, it was one of the moments when you can clearly feel conectendess between all of us, and the world...then you know, that even is hard sometimes, Auroville is the place where you have to and want to be.... In interesting interview with Andrea we overview last five years from its early beginnings to today, and what actually AurovilleRadio is to the community, and what it is to the other world. Nevertheless the progress of community in whole is very much related to the level of flux of information, and in Auroville especially that is of the vital point, because the people who live here are form all over the world, are indeed so different, and to live in unity in diversity information need to be shared. Group of students from University of Washington from Seattle came to Auroville for a month to explore, as they named it, unique, different and progressive community, the only “living” utopia on our planet right now. We spoke with Andrew and Austin who got in common anthropology, but beside that Andrew is also studying drama, and Austin Spanish. Impressive to this two is that Auroville is able to draw people from all over the world who are willing to make a change within themselves and with one goal wanting to improve conditions of humanity, and they see potentials in environmental impact. But they are more impressed over local Tamil culture because is so much different to where they came from. mp3/2009_09_07_magazine_andrew_austin_english_lite.mp3 Wednesday, 09 September 2009

Today is a day for quiet reflection yet at the same time a day for celebration. The Independence of India and not surprisingly the birthday of Sri Aurobindo both fall upon August 15. Sri Aurobindo, at one period in his life actively involved in the fight for independence, retired from that work and took on the greater far-reaching inner work, which has brought us all here. The Amphiteatre at Matrimandir at 5:15 a.m. is the site of the traditional bonfire, accompanied by a reading of Savitri by the Mother accompanied by the music of Sunil. Next at Bharat Nivas at 8:30 the Indian flag will be raised, in a meditational moment of gratitude. There will be a short recitation by the students on “Sri Aurobindo”. Dr. (Mrs.) Kamla Tiwari will be honoured with “ponnadai” in appreciation of her life long achievements in the field of health care. Many Aurovilians will visit Sri Aurobindo's room in the Ashram in Puducherry throughout the day. Saturday, 15 August 2009

Multi-national, multi-lingual nature of Auroville gives its citizen and guests an extraordinary opportunity to study foreign languages and therefore helps to establish mutual understandings between cultures and to build a human unity. Language is the keeper of all learning. One learns the cultural values that unite societies in common understanding through language. A united international society depends upon the pursuit of knowledge that creates dialog and reveals shared values. Those who speak foreign languages are agents to maintain the bonds between the cultures of the languages he or she speaks. In this interview some of Aurovillian agents share how they learn foreign languages and explore the traditions of human existence. mp3/2009_05_04_interview_why_study_foreign_languages_lite.mp3 Thursday, 06 August 2009
