A lot of students come to Auroville to do a training. One of them, Salabh, talks to us about architecture. He's doing a training with Bankim, an urbanist who shares his perspectives about the relationship between the urbanists and the students or the volunteers of Auroville. Working in Auroville exposed them to a wider spectrum of architecture knowledge and it's a medium to work in a mixed international environment. Maybe working in Auroville can convince them to come back to the city to contribute!

I just went to Transition School to make a short interview of Joan. He is the ATB class teacher ( Awareness Through the Body ). He talks about his time in this school as a teacher. and also a bit about his life unrelated to school work. He began working in Transition School in 1992 in the month of July, which means it has been exactly twenty years now! He is considered the an important teacher in Transition by the students and it would be terrible if he was to leave Transition School.

These programs are for children to enjoy during summer holidays, and maybe make some new friends. Teachers and volunteers offer programs especially enjoyable for small children; they can develop their own skills like swimming, learning different languages, singing, dancing, playing. Teachers are pleased to help the children, and keep them happy. At the same time they also learn a lot from the children, and grow with it.
