We looked at what connects us all, to oneself and to oneself, in joy and gladness. We allowed ourselves vibrating by the universal language of love that gives everything .. Avis aux chercheurs détoiles. Pour ma prochaine visite à Auroville, nous continuerons à progresser vers l'Unité, cette conscience qui nous fait grandir. Merci Read more

Hartmut von Lieres was born in Germany, he came to Auroville nine years ago. He feels that Auroville is the best place for him to express, through his instrumental music. Though he also performs in Germany also and is well know there.
Around sixty people gathered together on the evening and listened to the contemplative piano music improvised by him at Auroville on 12/12/12. During his soulful songs the listeners had their eyes closed and followed the melodies with full concentration. Listen to the concert's recording.

For the conclusion of the fund raising event at Kalabhumi Anna Taj with Edo and Pierre shake the stage, and audience of course, by some solid classical rock. Sting, Rollins Stones, Patti Smith, Tina Turner....sung by Anna kept the remaining public despite late hour, excited. But before going home we were cooled down by excellent blues duo of Swaha and Anna. The event was successful not only by sweet social gathering with great music and some nice food but also on the financial side, where they managed to raised close to the needed sum.

Last Sunday evening in Pitanga Hall, after a lapse of three years, Ashaman gave a performance of classical and Spanish guitar. The hall was packed to overflowing, the audience was completely silent and attentive; something touched the heart, something came through Ashaman as he played at times softly, at times forcefully but always with a consciousness that spoke of a love for the music and the instrument (a guitar which had been Maurizio's, our good friend and musician who is no longer with us.)

To conclude summer holidays Lisa wanted to share some of her favorites songs with friends and community, expressing what she pursues in her studies in Holland. Lisa, with exquisite voice, heading in a soul direction, was accompanied by Matt on keyboards and saxophone, Martin and Holger on classical guitar; Jonas and Tina joined in a couple of songs. As music is about emotions, feelings, the songs lulled us into those zones, where the only right thing is to be with friends, family and loved ones.

This recording was created on February 21st, shortly after the morning concentration at the Amphiteater. My walk started at the Matrimandir's gate toward the Banyan and back through the peace area, where I recorded conversations, guests entering the Matrimandir, workers busy in their tasks, and the songs of many birds. All the while, the rhythm of my feet on the earth accompanies the diverse sounds of the recording. Soundscapes, to me, share the beauty of a space in a way that doesn't have to be communicated in words; nothing but pure sound.
