These prayers are written in 1914. Half of century later, in Her Agenda, Mother tells of enfolding the earth and seeing a changed earth with a glorious inner light. Later She explains that Her body was built for the purpose.. Read more

What Auroville Needs?
Yesterday's very well attended General Meeting on proposed large land exchange in North Eastern Greenbelt by The Land Matters Task Force (LMTF) clearly showed that the decision will not be easy. Members of community are divided by which way to follow - either trust to an logical explanations or to follow heart while deciding on such an important matter as it is large land exchange or land sale. As somebody commented - "we really need to go within to derive to the common conclusion what would be the best for Auroville"... Read more

On July 1 1970, Rijuta, an American disciple, is in Mother's room. Mothers sees Rijuta's soul, her psychic being, and realizes that it is the psychic being which will eventually materialize into the supramental being. Mother describes this being and tell Satprem that the being she saw materialize in her room seemed to tell her, 'You are wondering what the supramental being will be. Here it is. This is it.' The Supramental Ship
On February 3, 1958, Mother's consciousness went to an intermediate zone between our world and the supramental world, where the link to connect the two worlds was being created. On February 19, 1958 she read out the written report of her experience to the Ashram, It was recorded, transcribed and published in the 1957-58 volume of Mother's 'Questions and Answers'. Mother's report details the penetration of the most material vibration of the supramental into the most material physical level of our world. She describes many things in detail. It Read more

And if the Matrimandir should represent the soul of Auroville, there should be peace and harmony amongst those who are offering service to care and develop Matrimandir with its surroundings. 50th anniversary of Auroville is approaching fast. Romeo Juliet
Last night the Abhang theatre group shared with the community at Sri Aurobindo Auditorium, Bharat Nivas, Pavilion of Indian Culture in International Zone a play Romeo Juliet. The play unfolds many questions in the context of structure of relationship, choice, innocence, revenge and hatred. A certain sense of incompleteness pervades within each character when he endeavours to transform his fantasy in to a reality. This in turn makes the character fall into the trap of Queen Mab that leads the direction of the play.

Invitation by Sri Aurobindo
Invitation With wind and the weather beating round me Up to the hill and the moorland I go. Who will come with me? Who will climb with me? Wade through the brook and tramp through the snow? Not in the petty circle of cities Cramped by your doors and your walls I dwell; Over me God is blue in the welkin, Against me the wind and the storm rebel. I sport with solitude here in my regions, Of misadventure have me a friend. Who would live largely? Who would live freely? Here to the wind-swept uplands ascend. I am the lord of tempest and mountain, I am the Spirit Read more
