In this week’s English news there’s an interview with Rakhal, Aurovilian from the early days in Aspiration. Rakhal speaks about South Indian Dr. G. Venkataswamy, ophthalmogist, who personally performed over one hundred thousand successful eye surgeries. In 1976 he formed a trust under which the Aravind Eye Hospital was founded.
