Today’s news offers an excerpt of’ a presentation from the Delhi-based Samarthyam organization, which is in charge of transforming New Delhi to be 100% barrier-free for the Commonwealth World Games 2010 with regard to transportation, public buildings, roads and other needed infrastructure, presented an interactive overview of their work here in Auroville, that it too may become user-friendly to those with ‘different’ abilities, formerly called ‘disabled.” Aurovilians experienced wearing blindfolds, walking alone with a stick and, mobility in a wheelchair, in an attempt to experience the reality.
