Saturday afternoon could be called almost perfect. The weather was sweet, children of all ages and big kids in a festive mood, music playing with energetic announcements by Anand, enticing smells of food. It’s hard to imagine the beginning of Christmas and New Year holidays in Auroville without the traditional fair at the Youth Center. Stalls in the event area offered many interesting items and games. Suryan rocked us with his great voice, TLC children made us laugh with their play…but..but…from some local young men who were drunk br…
…brought a bitter taste.
