Hungarian Caravan

Bogi, active member of Hungarian Pavilion and International Zone Coordination Team talks about her involvement and relationship to the development of International Zone. International Zone, as one of four zones (residental, cultural, industrial) of Auroville is poorly developed, apart from Bharat Nivas, Pavilion of India; and few residents live there. With generous donation from a private person for the well, which was drilled last year, possibilities to start intensive development of the area became a reality. International Zone, a window and an active bridge between inside to outside, gives also a platform whereby the souls of the nations and continents could come forward, be expressed in many ways, and finally merge into human unity.

The aim of Hungarian Caravan is to bring forward a piece of material manifestation of European area, and would serve for many purposes – from exhibitions, gathering, workshops to temporary housing of possible volunteer. Over 20 Hungarian artist contributed their creative energy in decorations of the caravan.
