2nd General Meeting on a proposed New Selection Process for the Workin (Photographer: Tabitha)Following are the minutes of the 2nd GM on a proposed New Selection Process for the Working Committee and the Auroville Council with a Participatory Working Group Proposal. Due to the rain, the meeting was not well attended. Still, what was exposed was that perhaps a new process will not make the dissatisfaction of the community disappear. It was mentioned, that even the best selection process possible would do nothing until we are ready to tackle the core issues that are burdening the community, causing much passivity and non-participation of its members. Koodam Presentatiion by Elvira and Sacha (Photographer: Frank)Yesterday afternoon, Elvira and Sacha presented, at Unity Pavilion, a new project called Koodam. It aims at finding a new approach to resolving conflict. At the moment, anybody who seeks a solution to a dispute has but one choice: The City Council. The Auroville Koodam has been created to support Aurovilians who face difficult conversations, communication blockages or conflict. It is a move away from the idea of wrong vs. right and a judiciary system, and towards, instead, the idea of multiple truths, Read more

Pioneers Time (Photographer: web)Francois and Rakhal have, over three years, interviewed the few Aurovilians who were greatly blessed to meet Mother when she was still in her human body. They put the first stones, and dug the first holes for planting trees, at a time when not much else was there, of Auroville. There are no more than thirty of these Aurovilians still with us and the project aims at preserving their memories for future generations. It also aims to honour them as our elders, and to help revive our spirit and keep us on the path to realizing The Dream. Listen to Shyama`s incredible life journey here.

Sri Aurobindo (Photographer: Sri Aurobindo Society)I have rendered a few poems from the book Collected Poems of Sri Aurobindo. I am having a great time discovering the multi-faceted grandeur of Sri Aurobindo's poetic genius. I am interested in sharing with the listeners my voice-adventure of trying to feel and render the poetry of Sri Aurobindo. The poem Bride of the Fire was written on November 11, 1935. The listeners can look forward to more such endeavours in the time to come. I am thankful to AurovilleRadio for letting me experiment. Read more

Amayama Band at Bharat Nivas, Pavilion of Indian Culture in International Zone (Photographer: Shirin)Malu, Joem and Sebastian, making up the heart of Amayama band, performed  last night, with guests, at the Sri Aurobindo Auditorium, Bharat Nivas, Pavilion of Indian Culture in International Zone. They mesmerized the audience with their music, dance and visuals. Using the power of world music rhythms they managed to connect those present in human unity, as has been done down the ages; leaving almost nobody sitting. Visuals and music appear as result of seeking for truths through spiritual practices, prophets, teachers from dawn to todays ones, such as Ama or Don Miguel Ruiz. Good Show!Read more
