Mime Wait for Godot
Last night at Sri Aurobindo Auditorium, Bharat Nivas, Pavilion of India was the last performing night for the closure of Miem Festival – Mime fro Masters, which has started on 12thof November. Despite the bad weather there were some enthusiastic people to follow the program, in which few types of mime were put on the stage. For the end four mime artist shared with us an fantasy story on the music score made by Drupad. The event was graced by Padma Shri Awardee Shri Niranjan Goswami who is the Director of Indian Mime Theatre in Kolkata, and the President of Indian Mime Federation.
A festival of many firsts is an International Mime Festival taking place for the first time within various mime groups worldwide and within a few states in India.
