The top of Matrimandir, the hightest point in Auroville, is the first place reached by the sun light.
On the edge of the building, sourounded by 1440 golden disks, a computerized driven mirror reflects the sun rays into the crystal sphere in the Inner Chamber. The Matrimandir project reproduces the Mother's vision and since the early '70s, many Aurovilians have worked on it, building the structure.
John arrived in 1974 and he has always been involved in the Matrimandir's development. This week he talked with Andrea about the staus of the work and the eliostat, the device beaming the sun rays to the sphere.
The short interview is in English and has been dubbed in French and Italian.
