Sraddhalu Ranade, invited by the Newcomer Program Team, offered a lecture at Savitri Bhavan the 19th of June 2010. Sraddhalu is a scientist, educationist and scholar residing at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram; Pondicherry. This talk covers a broad spectrum of themes relating to life in Auroville, from the essential spiritual truths that it seeks to realize, to the practical forms and means that need to be worked on. Among other things, it covers issues such as Auroville’s relationship to other communities, attitude in dealing with daily trials and struggles in the community, critical difference between daily work and karma-yoga, practical hints and secrets to Auroville’s success that are embedded in the Charter of Auroville.
