Today’s news focuses on the significance of 15 August, remembered as the day of India’s independence but also as a Darshan Day, this one the birthday of Sri Aurobindo which means for many a visit to Sri Aurobindo’s room. Registration for tokens is facilitated by the Pitanga Team in collaboration with Mallika. Also in the news there’s an invitation to nominate Aurovilians suitable to handle the responsibility of being a member of the Entry Service; submit names either by email or in person to the Auroville Council, at Town Hall. .
