Sri Kireet Joshi Departure

Program by :

It is with deep feeling that, early yesteray morning, Auroville’s highly esteemed friend, supporter, father and teacher Sri Kireetbhai Joshi, left his body at the age of 83 in the Ashram Nursing Home to proceed to his true home. We salute him with utmost gratitude for the role he has played in Auroville’s unfolding. And yesterday the cremation of Kireetbhais remains took place at Pondys Lawspet cremation place.
A recent interview can be seen where he recalls being with the Mother here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7AmJCvfAvAE
In today’s news we are featuring interview with Balu from Auroville Bamboo Research Centre inviting us to celebrations of World’s Bamboo Day which aims to rise the awareness on bamboo.

Rose of Life, crowded with petals, colour’s lyre! Transform the body of the mortal like a sweet and magical rhyme…
