Geeta (Kalpana) and Mona (Yantra) are delighted to bring to you once again a musical offering from the Ashram with Deepshikha and her group - this time with three Aurovilian singers - Lata (solo) and Tejaswini & Mona joining for the group songs.
Also this year the concert of Aurovilles largest choir took place in Cripa. On 2 and 3 March the 54 singer choir directed by the talented Nuria gave the city unforgettable moments.
A repeated pattern on the bass, the ostinato, was frequently used in the 17th and 18th centuries. Over this repeated ground motif, other voices are laid, weaving a beguiling skein of contrasting variations.
