Talking about Flux

On 11 March, a group of people witnessed the launch of book Islands in Flux’ by Pankaj Sekhsaria in Bhavishyate, Bharat Nivas. Pankaj has been engaged with issues in Andaman and Nicobar Islands from past many years. He presented his two books “The Last Wave, a fictional story talking about lost loves, a culture, a community” and “Islands in Flux, writings on different issues and developments in Andaman and Nicobar Islands over past few years”. In his presentation he also touched upon various issues of Andaman and Nicobar Islands like change in climate (frequent earthquakes and tsunami), living standards of tribal people and wildlife and how human activities are causing environmental imbalance.
The presentation was followed by an interactive session of questions and answers.
