The Philosophy of Consciousness
In this concluding lecture of the University of Human Unity Series 2015, in The Philosophy of Consciousness Hegel and Sri Aurobindo, Rod introduces a topic he calls the sociology of Supermind.
This follows upon a brief consideration of various philosophers of consciousness, over a period of eight weeks, including especially Hegel, Schopenhauer, Heidegger, Whitehead, and Sri Aurobindo, finally reviewing current theories of neurophenomenology.
In the end, we find ourselves back in Auroville. Human consciousness is temporal: we care about the past, the present, the future, and the possible, more than any other species.
