To meet is to unite
Auroville is about unity and the Residence assembly is the place to reflect and improve it. Past experiences was the incentive for the new experiment in meetings. Instead of heavy, unstructured, sometimes emotionally tense meetings a new way was devised. A place for discussion was still there but the focus was on meeting, sharing and not on criticizing without personal contribution to the solution. “How to improve participation in the residence assembly” was the subject and many reflected on it. Fun was integrated into the meeting so music, personal stories, short children shows, games and food where an integral part. The smile on people faces when they left, showed that the experiment was a success and future meetings are something to expect.
