Synthesis of Yoga

Resuming on page 361 the second half of Chapter IX The Release of the Ego in Part Two The Yoga of Integral Knowledge.

Sri Aurobindo stresses that nothing half-way, attractive, exclusive or high-pinnacled is to be sought by the seeker of knowledge of an integral Yoga. He must continuously soar to the utmost height, for it is the absolute union of the soul with the Transcendent that is the goal.

In the path of Knowledge an uncompromising abolition of the ego-sense, at its very source, must be done; one may attempt this abolition by a constant fixing of one’s thought on the One and Infinite in itself, or everywhere. If done persistently, in the end this changes one’s mental outlook not only on oneself, but on the whole world. Result: a kind of mental realization … which deepens eventually into spiritual experience … realization in the substance of our being.

SOL – 741 Hz

SOL – 741 Hz
Intent: solving problems, expressions solutions
It cleans the cell (“Solve polluti“) from the toxins. Frequent use of 741 Hz leads to a healthier, simpler life, and also to changes in diet towards foods which are not poisoned by various kinds of toxins. Tone ‘Sol’ cleans the cell from different kinds of electromagnetic radiations. Another application of this sound frequency is solving problems of any nature. The fifth frequency of the Solfeggio scale will also lead you into the power of self-expression, which results in a pure and stable life.

The Early Days Of Patrick

Patrick recounts his youthful adventures of hitchhiking along with his friends from France to India and eventually to Auroville. He recalls what drove him to join Auroville, his early days in the ashram and how it has evolved into the place we know today. From being a coolie helping with the construction of the Matrimandir to being the pioneer for surfing in Auroville, Patrick’s days are enriched with interesting anecdotes and experiences. He also shares with us what it means for him to be a true Aurovilian, and which of The Mother’s teachings resonate with him the most. His story is told to the backdrop of the song ‘In My Life’ by The Beatles, a song about loving the memories created in places that have changed for better or for worse.

The Mentor Pool Meeting

On Saturday the 18th of November 2017, at the Tibetan Pavilion, there was an information sharing meeting on the updated entry process.
The main focus of this session was to inform on the changes to the new entry process and the impact it will have on New Comers and Mentors.
One of the changes to the entry process is the launching of Yucca, a three days introduction to Auroville for people interested in applying as New Comers. The first session of Yucca will take place between the 23rd and the 25th of November.
The main topic of the meeting was the importance of the involvement of mentors, and it was discussed that more Aurovillians are urged to step forward and offer themselves as mentors.

After the meeting some video interviews were done with some of those present, please go to this link to see http://aurovilleradio.org/newsite/the-mentor-pool-meeting/
