"This CD is a short exposition of 9 'easy' pieces written for piano only. Its underlying thematical structure is made with references to the poem 'Prometheus' by Johan Wolfgang Goethe. In this poem Goethe gives his own ideas about the myth of Prometheus. It would be to difficult to explain this poetry but something of it is hopefully captured in the composition of these short pieces for piano only."- Padro

The Improbable Aurovilians follow this week a dream-laden path to the doors of Madame Flaflasky (Krishna of Solitude) whose transgender style doesn’t suit all, but there's no denying the charms of her voice. More troubles for Etoile, while Blade and Charles team up in the hunt for a ‘Nipper’. In this episode, recorded in Auroson's shower and living room, Krishna, Paul, Mukta, Auroson, Norman, Johnny and Amrit'may have gone a little'too far... or not... Improbable Aurovilians

It might be the unavoidable course of Nature that stood four people, who due to certain innate deficiencies'are all inappropriate for an appropriate kind of Yoga, around a stereo microphone..., but that there was electricity, and folks willing to listen, is surely the work of the Divine. The Improbable Aurovilians are for the moment: Paul as Etoile, Norman as Charles, Auroson as Blade, and Johnny as a rhyming Dogsbody. In this episode we meet Mukta, Muriel and Amara as well.

The Birth of the Child

"The 'Birth of the Child' CD is the second in the sequel of the Icarus series. Here the story'proceeds with the birth of the child soul that incarnates in the earth atmosphere. The music tries, specifically,'to capture the search of Icarus for this particular soul in the higher spiritual world, and the first tentative steps in the earth atmosphere. This is done in the latter part of the CD where the listener witnesses the dream state. To be continued on a third CD." - Padro

Homage to Syd Barrett

"This soundscape is a musing on the coming monsoon in Auroville, with its different moods. While working on the composition, however, I was confronted with the tragic news of the recent demise of Syd Barrett, the initial founder of Pink Floyd. He can be regarded as one of the groundbreaking pioneers of surrealistic modern music despite his early leave from Pink Floyd in the late '60s. The kind of music he initiated, together with Pink Floyd's visual experiments during their early performances, have been putting their stamp on many bands and music groups to follow ever since. Therefore I would like to dedicate this piece in memory of him."- Jaap
