Ashaman's Spanish guitar
Last Sunday evening in Pitanga Hall, after a lapse of three years, Ashaman gave a performance of classical and Spanish guitar. The hall was packed to overflowing, the audience was completely silent and attentive; something touched the heart, something came through Ashaman as he played at times softly, at times forcefully but always with a consciousness that spoke of a love for the music and the instrument (a guitar which had been Maurizio’s, our good friend and musician who is no longer with us.)
Percussionist Suresh accompanied intuitively, adding a special touch.
