Karthigai deepam or Peruvizha as it is mentioned in the Sangam literature – is one of the oldest festivals celebrated by Tamil people. We just observed it. Let’s find out what local and wild food can be found in the food prepared for this festival of light. BTW tomorrow, 5 December is the world soil day… Soil and climate speaks to us via the weeds.
