Audible Weed Walk – Ep.76 “Wild Food and Fairness – Part 1”

Wild Food and Fairness – Part 1 : I am going to share with you something that is the core issue of why I am doing my podcast, or the coloring book, and the weed walk for that matter. It is to consciously reconnect ourselves with nature, build climate resilience, improve health of the ecosystem and in the process improve health – in actual measurable parameters, and thus create wellbeing overall. How do we, you and I with our choices, can bring about that? This topic is so HUGE, hence I have set it aside each time I thought of bringing it up. Now, the picture you see along with the podcast – a beautiful tribal girl holding a collection of Mahua flowers. If one has to identify one single, iconic species that represents the indigenous peoples in India it is likely – Mahua or Madhuca longifolia. The picture inspired me. However, I am sure that I alone, or in a single podcast will not be able to address the various aspects of this topic. But together we, you and I, can try and address it in baby steps. I do not have all the answers and hence I need you to participate : listen, reflect, and write to me at edibleweedwalk@gmail.com.

This is part one; in the future we will have more.
