Bridging The Gap

Bhavya, an active volunteer at the Bridging the Gap program, tells us what the program aspires to do. Bridging the Gap is a three month course with an impressive and ambitious objective that has had a deep impact on several children. On the 3rd of December, children from several schools gathered together for the community event during which there was joyous dancing, a parade, many interactive games and goodies like popcorn and cotton candy. Beneath all the celebration, there were many obstacles that stood in the way of triumph, and Bhavya reveals what they were and how they successfully overcame them. She also talks about the change the movement has sparked and how it has empowered children to freely discuss topics that were considered a taboo earlier.
