Carpe Diem
Yesterday at Pitanga Cultural Centre in Samasti was inaugurated Carpe Diem – a photo exhibition by Lisbeth and Amara, where they are sharing images of everyday life – of people, landscapes and stillness. And in short conversation we find out that in this dual exhibition both favor nature capture in one particular moment, and people of the area.

Fun and informative, revealing and inspiring. Fun: hearing Amara and Lizbeth expound and share. Informative: that Lizbeth has been a photographer a very long time (like my daughter Jyoti). Revealing: that our strange method of economic-coping has one studio charging artists ( some of our least wealthy) to show us their work. Inspiring: Realizing that those who live in this challenging experimental space keep finding new ways of sharing their work
