Escape From Mt. Rubbish
Productions presented an epic theatrical gesture in conjunction with Litter Free Auroville last Friday at the Visitors’ Centre. Johnny’s began with a witty introduction of human history (which sadly managed to destroy so much of what exists.) With the substance we know as plastic, its use became misuse; Mother Nature became the target.’ ‘Escape From Mt. Rubbish’ was played with a cast of thirty children, who understand the well the context of Litter Free Auroville’ and the campaign toward that end, which takes place on Friday 29. The audience had lots of laughter all the way through the play, and gave’ the players a standing ovation at the end. The final message: avoid the use of plastic. .
