Gangai Amaran’s – Live Concert
In commemoration of Sri Aurobindo’s 150th Birth anniversary, there was a musical festivity at Sri Aurobindo Auditorium, Bharat Nivas on 6th August,2022 by Thiru. Gangai Amaran and his team.
Thiru. Gangai Amaran is a famous Music Director, prolific Lyricist, Singer, Screenplay writer, Actor, and Film Director in the film industry of Tamil. Being a multi-talented personality, he has been active in this field for around 50 years of span and is one of the most respected and honored people in the film industry. Gangai Amaran became popular through the movies Vazhvey Maayam, Karagattakaran,etc. He has scored music for 165 Indian films as of 2009
and got the lifetime achievement award from International Tamil Film Awards (ITFA).
Gangai Amaran is the younger brother of world-famous Tamil music director Isaigniani Ilaiyaraaja. Above all, Gangai Amaran is an ardent devotee of The Mother and Sri Aurobindo. He composed the popular devotional piece named “AMMA”, dedicated to The Mother.
Famous singers, S.N.Surender,Senthil Dass and Faridha also joined the troupe of Thiru.Gangai amaran on this special event.
