Organization of the Matrimandir
Srimoyi, who is in charge of the organization of the Park of Unity (the amphitheater, the Banyan Tree, the Matrimandir and the twelve gardens including the Garden of Unity), explains the three different booking procedures to enter the Matrimandir. She also talks about the Mother’s guidelines and the current difficulties her team has to face. ‘It must be solitary and silent. It must have an isolating zone, one must have access to it only with permission.’
1st category (First time visitors to Matrimandir for concentration): Make a booking in person in the Visitor Center between 10 and 11am or 2 and 3pm. 2nd category (Visitors who have previously concentrated in the Matrimandir): Book at the Matrimandir Gate between 10 and 11am, call (0413) 2622204 between 10 and 11 am or send an email to mmconcentration@auroville.org.in a few days in advance.
