Puthiyathore Ulagam or New World
Sri Aruobindo Auditorium in Bharat Nivas, Pavilion of India was packed in expectation of Puthiyathore Ulagam or New World dance performance by Auroamsadhwani group with Bharatanatyam, and Kanchana’s students with Odissi dance.
Dance students of both groups, aged from 10 to 25 created performance together, depicting certain parts of Sri Aurobindo’s Savitri, focused on transformation, and parts of Auroville’s life.
For the end of the show, 50 students dedicated 50 flowers to The Mother, thus marking 50 years of Auroville .
