In a contemporary reimagining of Indian epic classic Ramayana, German Director Felix Mathias Ott attempts to blur the line between myth and reality, God and man, performer and audience.
Ott plunges his unsuspecting audience into a swirling cosmic quagmire of ancient folklore where protagonists (played by Puja Sarup and Vinod Ravindran) must negotiate there way through precarious terrain littered by Gods, warriors and tragedy.
Half improvisation, half demigod battle royale, Ramayana challenges our views on traditional stories and their place and/or absence in modern society.
