The Divine Mother’s Birth and Childhood as Savitri
The Divine Mother comes as Savitri to take up her divine unfinished task. Her will to divinise the clay of our physical bodies and make dumb matter conscious of its God again puts on an earthly shape. At once she seemed to found a mightier race. A lovelier body formed than earth had known. The link of soul with form grew sure. A mind of light, a life of rhythmic force, a body instinct with hidden divinity prepared an image of the coming god.
