Une école alternative

Changeons de dcor pour les chos de cette semaine. L’quipe franaise dcid de vous faire dcouvrir de nouveaux lieux et de nouvelles activits. Cette semaine nous avons enregistr notre mission l’cole Deepanam, une cole qui laisse aux enfants le choix de ce qu’ils souhaitent tudier. Avec un nombre grandissant d’lves, Deepanam commence susciter un intrt pour les parents et les enfants qui habituellement prfrent les coles aux cursus ordinaires.

This week, the French Team decided to change of background. We jumped from The Town Hall to Deepanam School, an alternative school which propose to the students to choose their programs. An interview with Rajeev and Anand will tell us more.

Eau en couleur

Alors que la pluie est de retour dans nos régions, l’un de nos soleils et l’âme de la cité, le Matrimandir, voit sa construction toucher à sa fin. Autour de lui, l’architecture des jardins reste encore incertaine et leur accomplission temporellement indéterminée. Esta semana les ofrecemos una entrevista con Jivatman, brasileo que vive en Auroville hace mas de 20 aos. Y ademas le informamos sobre la ampliacin de las medidas de seguridad en la ciudad, la propuesta de intercambios de Karma yoga entre California y Auroville, unas indicaciones sobre la alimentacin mas adecuada para este caluroso verano y por ultimo una explicacin sobre el programa del proximo viaje de presentacion de Auroville en Kazakhstan.

Radio Drama Live

Story starts in a ship where Captain and two passengers, Chico and Meli, are arguing. They want to go to an island. Chico wants to go there to meet Medusa to change his life and he thinks that Medusa can help him. When they reach the island Oda and his daughter help Chico to find Medusa’s place and when they reach there Oda starts talking to Medusa. Finally Oda decides to leave the island with his young wife Daisy and start a new life. Medusa decides to die and leave the earth in peace. Yatra Arts Foundation also staged a tamil family drama.

This was followed by a play based on Madam Filarski, a self-proclaimed clairvoyant, who has a baby. Charles goes to her to view his dreams and at the same time the baby starts crying. While she tries to quiet the baby two other old clients arrive. The play is a comedy about Madam Filarski caught between her baby’s antics and her clients who become preoccupied with trying to quiet the crying baby .

Live love drama

Live audio drama is a program produced by Auroville Radio station in ’07. The first drama happens in a cruise ship, the captain and DJ fight all the time but in fact they are in love. In other side of ship an Australian girl falls in love with a Spanish boy. She tries to know more about her future by going to a fortune-teller and at the end at the last night of their journey they all confess of being in love with one each other. A unique drama of 40 minutes accompanied by a music band. Various groups performed their respective dramas.

The second drama it’s in French and it make sense to listen to… Surprise.
The last drama is about Superman and his love. Evil captures Superman’s love, Superman goes to fight with him and after going through difficult situations he succeeds. Groups of actors and actresses from language backgrounds such as English and French participated and performed their Dramas. The concept of the dramas revolved around love, passion, romance and relationships between different people. The talented actors displayed their acting skills.

Wim Aspeslagh Farewell

Wim Aspeslagh was just 51 years old, originally from Belgium, and in Auroville since 2001. He was particularly instrumental in making global concepts, celebrations and’other such issues’more of a reality in Auroville.
Throughout the week, his steadfast and brave’approach to that what he was going through, immensely inspired the ones around him.’He succumbed to utter exhaustion and physical deterioration due to advanced leukemia. All throughout he was grateful for the support given to him from so many sides.

11 Days of Global Unity

September 11 to September 21.
11 Days of Global Unity is a worldwide promotion of peace and’ sustainability with music concerts, conferences, film screenings, dance festivals, peace vigils, meditations, webcasts and other events culminating on September 21, UN International Day of Peace.
In’ 2001, the UN formally established an annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence, fixed in the global calendar on 21 September – Peace Day. The vision of the Day extends far beyond the cessation of violent conflict and represents an opportunity for individuals to join in a day of global unity.
Auroville is also joining this global initiative to promote a culture of peace, to celebrate a sustainable future, and to create a true and just global unity. Download the document.
