The Way of Flowers
Today’s news features an interview with Valeria in preparation for the opening of tomorrow’s Ikebana Exhibition. Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement, is also known as kadō’ (the way of flowers.) The spiritual aspect of Ikebana is considered very important to its practitioners. Silence is a must during practices of Ikebana; it is a time to appreciate things in nature that people often overlook because of their busy lives. As’ part of’ the Asia Unity 2010 event, this exhibition will be held in the Hall of Light in Creativity Community beginning tomorrow 20 February for 5 days..
