Audible Weed Walk – ep.29 “Chance encounters – walk to plate”
As a weeder – something you get to know a species that is new to you. Then you see a plant that you already knew, may have even known about some of its medicinal or edible uses and yet – you discover something new in them. You look anew something that is already known – and your appreciation deepens. Those appreciations – I visualize them as anchors that tie me to the Nature, to its bounty, and resilience. Ah we talk about the amazing bees too and the exciting POLLIN project it is a mix of citizen science project, a survey of the pollinator network in the urban/semin urban farms, and setting up on pot hives and box hives for stingless and the honey bees.
