AV Sustainability Indicators
Auroville Integral Sustainability Institute invited, like last year, 8 post graduate planning students with their Professor from Queen’s School of Urban & Regional Planning Canada. They presented their work on AV sustainability indicators yesterday night in MMC. They started some background preparation work in Canada itself and arrived in Auroville 2 Weeks ago for field visit and familiarization with Auroville context.They interacted with many resource persons to get an insight into diverse aspects of community life, issues and challenges.
They tried to adapt the international indicators commonly used, to Auroville and created AVSIS (Auroville Sustainability Indicator System) to rate our results on this matter. Their study concerned the town hall complex. To download the presentation {click here}.
