Switzerland and India celebrate their long friendship
Consulate General of Switzerland in Bangalore, Conny Camenzind tells us about the importance of a good friendly relationship between two countries.
Celebrating 70 years of Swiss-Indian friendship based on the friendship treaty signed in 1948 right after Independence. She has been touring by bus around Indian cities such as Bangalore, Mysore,Coimbatore, Kodaikanal, Karaikudi, Chennai, Puducherry and Auroville. Presenting a variety of events on culture, technical innovation, education and science.
The events include a screening of Swiss movies such as Heidi , My Life As a Zucchini (Oscar Winner in 2016 for Animation) with a special message about friendship.
The event that took place in Auroville was organized in collaboration with Shivaya (also from Switzerland) and the Visitor Centre.
