Today’s news features an excerpt from Geshe Pema Dorjee’s talk which he gave last Saturday at the Tibetan Pavilion. His observations are from the point of view of Buddhism, yet are they not in agreement with and an echo of what our higher nature whispers to us, amid the ongoing ramblings of our ego: more more, more? He pointed out that desire and greed are the basis of over-consumption, which is the root cause of our ecological crisis. Also in the news are postings of the art exhibits running concurrently.
