A tribute to The Beatles? Yeah, why not?

The idea of a Beatles tribute came about just like that, when Rolf and Amando ran into each other, as they often do, and struck a conversation…
The two never thought this would get as big as it did. The concert at the Visitor Center was very well attended. Aurovilians and guests danced for almost two hours. The core band was formed by Dhani on vocals & lead guitar, Amando on vocals & bass, Ray on vocals & drums , Rolf on rhythm guitar. Ingo (harmonica) on a few songs, adding an extra flair.
We had a surprise appearance of “Starving Marvin”, a singer, composer and keyboard player. He had been a member of Kevin Ayers Band for 11 years.
The concert was played in front of a huge, enthusiastic and loud crowd. We can only imagine what a real Beatles concert was like.
Well, this was the closest to the real thing.
