Herbert Girardet explores if large, modern cities can be viable and resilient homes for humanity. Hedescribes the historical urban transformation from agropolis (an economic system that draws most of its resources from immediate bioregions) to petropolis (eco-predator which relies on petrol-based fuel and highly wasteful resource management). He shares that the future lies in ecopolis and regenerative cities. To download the presentation click here.
