Interview to Ananda
Our good friend and long-term brother Ananda left his body at Marika House the 26th of August at the age of 68.
Ananda discovered the yoga of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother in the 70’s and joined Auroville in 1982 along with partner Michiko. It was he who introduced Auroville to Aikido, while also running a girls’ boarding school and starting up the Lotus weaving unit in Fraternity. He was a linguist, and involved in several key services in Auroville. Since 2009 he functioned as the internal auditor of AV commercial units.
