Stanzin Dorjai Gya, is an internationally recognized filmmaker. He lives in Ladakh in the Indian Himalayas and has dedicated his cineastic work to the unique challenges of life on the roof of the world. With his compelling subjects and stunning images, he opens the publics eyes and mind to life in a fragile, yet breathtakingly beautyful environment. Stanzin is thus a fantastic ambassador of Ladak, its people and the problems they are facing.
